Tutt'intorno al palazzetto e al plesso auditorium-mensa si estendono le parcelle agricole per esercitazioni agrarie, l'ampia serra 7 e la zona avicola (progetto di ricerca per la riproduzione di razze avicole a rischio di estinzione:MugelleseLivornese: bianca - dorata - argentata).
